- Jason Mcnamara Review added: 2017.12.24★ ★ ★ ★ ★We stayed in this beautiful one bed characterful cottage (2 Station Rd, Findochty) for 3 nights in January on a coastal walking holiday. Parking right outside overlooking the harbour. The cottage is very well laid out and the owners have thought of everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped with thoughtful extras like tinfoil, shrink wrap, bags etc. The bedroom is the whole top floor with wonderful views of the harbour and some binoculars to help look for sealife. The Wifi is good too and they have a hard wired USB socket for charging. The shower room is on the ground floor and the shower had amazing pressure. The whole place is lovely and warm and welcoming and we would highly recommend this self catering for 2 to anyone. You can easily walk to Portknockie where they have a fabulous fish & chip shop and we carried onto Cullen for a lovely day out. Well done to the owners for creating such a wonderful holiday cottage.
